My Story
I was introduced to Scentsy by my senses at work. I had never heard of this or smelled fragrances so pure and serene. I decided to do some research about this company and gathered my friends together to try my hand at a home party. I had so much fun and I enjoyed the look on the faces of everyone that first tried the products. As the months went on, I kept ordering of course, and then I was offered THE opportunity to start my own Scentsy business. I often thought to myself, I could never do this because I am not a salesperson and I am shy, BUT with Scentsy all of that is irrelevant because Scentsy truly sells itself. I have done direct sales in the past with very little success, that was because I was very limited with the products as to consumers and reoccurring sales and I never really believed in the products I attempted to sell. However, with these Amazing scents and beautiful warmers, all you have to do is share the experience and opportunity and allow the products to sell themselves.
I joined Scentsy in April, 2016 and in 6 short months I was promoted to Director. It was surreal to advance so quickly, but with a Growth mindset I took on each challenge and dove into the leadership role head on because I realized that this is what I love about the business. Scentsy is fulfilling my dream of once wanting to become a teacher. It is so amazing to help my fellow sisters and misters to gain confidence, to see them succeeding and promoting as well with their own businesses. In October, 2017 I was blessed again with another promotion to Star Director. Sayyyy What? that is the second highest rank in the company. I started at the bottom like we all do y'all so I know I am living proof that it can happen for any person that puts their mind to it and wants to Make it Happen. The best part about the business is gaining so many Amazing friends. I feel like I am a part of something so much bigger, it has given me purpose and inspiration to want to succeed. Although many look at direct sales as a side hustle I no longer want this to be just that and I truly believe that I can make this into a Career. Scentsy is about bringing value to the world by providing a family friendly business opportunity with high quality products that Warm the Heart, Enliven the Senses and Inspire the Soul. I am so passionate about Scentsy that I want to bless everyone I meet with the same experience.
